Recipe Rotation: Sweet Potato Raviolis, Easy Biscuits and Caldo de Papa

I love recipe testing and finding those ones that *stick*. The following are three recipes that feel homey and comforting for when you’re looking for something delicious that gives you all the feels.

Sweet Potato Ravioli with Butter-Sage Cream Sauce by Elizabeth Poett of The Ranch Table

I recently was gifted this ravioli tray that makes ravioli making m

uch quicker but it’s not something you need as they can be cut by hand. If you have Discovery+ you can watch her make these on the Magnolia Network (Ranch to Table) Season 2 Episode 6. I especially love to make extra and freeze them for a quick meal during the week!

Easy Homemade Biscuits by Sugar Spun Run

I grew up eating pillsbury biscuits (and loving them), but as an adult I prefer to make things from scratch. I was craving biscuits months ago but needed an easy recipe. I found this simple recipe and loved the outcome! I’ve omitted the sugar for a savory taste, added shredded cheese for cheesy ones and have even added a beaten egg. It's a versatile recipe perfect for the beginner biscuit maker ;)

Caldo de Papa / Sopa de Papa by Mexican Food Memories

I was recently watching a show about authentic Spanish food and it sparked my own interest in researching recipes. I found Caldo de Papa and thought it sounded simple and delicious. I had all the ingredients on hand and a huge bonus was it was kid approved in my house! For this recipe I replaced the water with chicken bone broth for a more nutrient-dense soup and added fresh cilantro.
