I’m sitting in the dark holding my baby (toddler) girl while she finishes her nap and thought I’d write something short and sweet while I have a moment.
First off, hello, it’s been awhile! I’m not really sure where this blog will take me in 2021, but I’m glad it’s still here. There’s something so fun for me about reading words I once wrote, and while times will inevitably change, I hope to always find comfort in reading about how things once were.
This year I’d love to take a stab at writing more personal pieces while I continue to share things I love about food, creativity, and my family. In an effort to decrease the amount of time spent scrolling, I recently found personal blogs through Pinterest so endearing and fun to read. I have a few I continuously go back to since I prefer long-form content vs. social media captions.
Some minor changes - I am now private on instagram (all my old posts link to my private account), but if you know me personally, I'd love for you to still connect. I am in the process of figuring out a new direction for sharing my blog content online and hope to have that figured out sometime this year ;)
